Thank you for considering a donation of time and/or money to AYUDA in support of our mission. Your contribution will be going directly to implementing AYUDA’s programs and objectives by sponsoring local diabetes projects in countries such as Ecuador and the Dominican Republic in 2011.

Beyond volunteering and donating, there are many other ways you can support AYUDA’s mission. We have been amazed and touched by the unique contributions we have already received from AYUDA supporters. For example, in honor of Diabetes Awareness Month and World Diabetes Day, elementary school students in Brooklyn, New York hosted a Dance for Diabetes and other awareness raising activities as part of a service learning project. Another example is Peninah Benjamin, who is turning 13 years-old. For her Bat-Mitzvah project she going to raise money for AYUDA to run a diabetes family camp in Ecuador this summer (click on the link to read about Peninah).

Below is a list of some of the ways other supporters have contributed to AYUDA. Please check back as we will have more details on how you can contribute coming soon!

• Hosted AYUDA-themed dinner parties or events

• Made AYUDA a part of pre planned events such as weddings, birthdays and bat-mitzvahs or bar-mitzvahs

• Created and sold AYUDA-themed products in local store to raise awareness and funds

• Created an online or email campaign

• Talked about AYUDA to family and friends
